Not certain why Eddie decided to kill Charlie Jr that way.all of those created one angry spirit. Can I just say, I love the symbolisms. Or she may just decide to be loyal to the Scarlet. Pregnant Eddie/Edwardine must have found out something that's not mentioned or was manipulated by Enoch (Enoch may have convinced her that Charlie Jr didn't truly love her and was only using her to destroy the family) to the point she would choose to stay and remain a Scarlet.
#SCARLET HOLLOW STELLA HOW TO#
The witch clued Charlie (Charles Shaw Jr) about what Enoch did and how to possibly 'break the "curse"' so Eddie/Edwardine (Tabitha and Protag's great grandmom) can leave Scarlet Hollow with Charlie-after all, they were lovers. Based on what the witch was saying as well as 'The entity,' Enoch (or perhaps his father) may have resorted to some sort of dark supernatural power to keep the family wealthy or powerful. But either his promise to his dad to overthrow Enoch Scarlet or his love for Eddie pushed Charlie Jr to return to Scarlet Hollow. The collapse that was blamed mostly on Charles Shaw (Sr) for cutting corners (despite that Enoch knowingly used the faulty wood) so the Shaws were banished.
What I glean from playing with mythical perk:Įnoch was mostly responsible for the collapse. if I was actually in the woods with ditchlings all around me I'd be terrified, but in a game, that's not scary, it's exciting! But the whole art shift, everything moving around, the characters giving those dead eyed stares, really got to me. This chapter was scarier than the previous two! I'm not usually particularly affected by horror. Everybody walking away is better than I was hoping for. But maybe that's mostly relief because when I realized just how many people I'd invited to this ghost busting party I was looking at all of them wondering which one wouldn't make it out alive. Losing years of someone's life is of course terrible and tragic, but compared to an immediate death, teens buried alive or someone losing a foot, it was a sacrifice I felt a lot more comfortable with. I kind of felt like I got off easy in this chapter. The schism between the Shaws and the Scarlets, as well as all the misfortune that's befallen Scarlet Hollow, stems from that decision. I'm thinking the decision to use bad wood and therefore cause the deaths of 186 miners was the catalyst that led to everything else we're experiencing. Previously, Mystical was the only trait that let you know about the Scarlets being responsible for the collapse, but this new chapter gives some more information even to players without Mystical.
but he deserves autonomy.Įverything seems to go back to the collapse of the Shaw mine. She may be right in her estimates for how much activity he can deal with etc. I know burnout happens quickly when caring for someone with chronic illness, and she's been dealing with it for years, but it's absolutely abhorrent to treat her adult son the way she does. Though I don't know what the deal is with Reese, I'm extremely pissed at his mom. While they could absolutely have been close strictly platonic friends, I grow more and more convinced that Tabitha harbored romantic feelings for Stella when they were young. Why does he think the mayor needs a security detail (or that there's a point to making it look like the mayor has a security detail)? Who gives him his military haircuts? Who is he listening to on that earpiece? (It's no one.) He's just so absurd I had to take a break from playing so I could laugh.
Everyone else in the game looks like they fit into this tiny Appalachian town, and then we get a straight up Secret Service agent. The mayor's handler made me laugh out loud for a solid minute.
